Our flagship program designed for absolute beginners. We bring a fleet of premium acoustic guitars to your office, providing a "zero-friction" entry into the world of music. We handle the logistics. Inspired by the intentionality of jazz and the ancient traditions of Middle Eastern strings, re: sound is led by Mastaneh Nazarian—a musician, educator and consultant dedicated to "Enactable Creativity." We believe that when you change the way you listen, you change the way you work.
The Intersection of Artistry and Performance:
I am a Melbourne-based musician, educator, and consultant with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of sound, education, and human connectivity. My work is rooted in the belief that music is not merely a performance, but a uniquely embodied experience that can enhance how we live, work, and solve problems.
The Philosophy of re: sound Inspired by meeting of process-based passions that have been part of my journey: Jazz composition and improvisation (guitar) and Persian music (oud) and poetry. Alongside these my deep interest in education and human connectivity have combined to create re: sound.
The resonant traditions of the oud and the problem-solving 'creativity as a joy filled state" of jazz, have led me to bring together education and resonance to address the "digital fatigue" crisis facing modern professionals. I recognise that in high-growth sectors like technology, finance, and health, the greatest luxury—and the greatest necessity—is the ability to disconnect from the screen and reconnect with tactile creativity.
I specialise in "enactable creativity" through my group guitar lessons and provides bespoke music experiences, workshops, and digital detox sound rooms tailored to the corporate sector. My mission is to bring "Analog Reset" directly into the office, helping teams improve technical coordination, mental endurance, and social cohesion through the power of live music creation.
