Music theory/Aural training
I believe that no two people will come to truly experience the inner workings of music using the same method. The most important ingredient of teaching is the student, and only then the subject at hand. I offer personalized training for music students of all backgrounds.

Guitar (electric and acoustic)
I specialize in teaching guitar in groups and privately, for children and adults.
If you and a friend want to try something new, learning together can be a great way to relax and expand your creativity. Learning with another person can feel less threatening and will provide you with a practice partner. Who knows, with just a little bit of dedication you could be starring at your local open-mike!

I just wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful recital. Harris was so thrilled and proud to participate. Thank you for your patience and encouragement. I fully believe in the positive impact of music and learning. It is teachers like you that really make a difference. Thank you.
Best,
Adrienne.

I have been very impressed with your teaching ability, particularly with this age group. You maintain a wonderful balance between warmth, fun, and focus.
With warmest regards,
Heather.

...You're doing a great job with him. I know it's not easy to teach a four year old.  But he's a bright kid and you're a skilled and patient teacher.
All the best,
Deborah.

She began her formal studies of the instrument while still in middle school and continued her studies in Jazz and Classical styles as well as composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She completed a Masters of Composition at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane, Australia.
She has performed internationally on radio, the concert stage, popular music venues and is an active composer and song writer.
Mrs. Nazarian has taught guitar since 1995 in high schools, junior colleges and privately. Dedicated to bringing music education through the guitar to younger people, Mrs. Nazarian has completed Childbloom Educator training and Certification in Austin, Texas, under Kevin Taylor, the founder of the Program in 2002.
"Mastaneh is a mature, highly qualified individual with a warm temperament. I am trilled that she is the Director of the first Childbloom Guitar Program in Los Angeles," says Taylor.
Mastaneh taught in the Boston area from 2005-2006.
