As a guitarist, composer and writer my work is woven through the use of texts. My interest in using text and inspiration from various English and Farsi language poets has been part of my innate musical environment as my early experiences of 'house concerts' are from informal after dinner gatherings that started with text and spun into music.

Some of the poetry that I have worked with includes a setting of Sort of a Song by William Carlos Williams, music works on poems by Forough Farrokhzad, and most recently a collaboration with Brisbane's Concept Ensemble and on a poem by Judith Bishop.
