Since 1996 I have been playing a Parker Fly Classic. In 2003 I acquired an Acoustic Image Clarus 2R amplifier and a Raezer’s Edge Twin 8 Tower speaker cabinet. (All featured on our CD: Kafka Pony, the Music of Mastaneh Nazarian). Working with the guitar leads me to observe various ways about how (and who) I am and how I function. Composing is a very integral part of this process as are: (this is the short list...). -Daily practice -Yoga -Learning and discovering about other arts -Listening -Cooking -Swimming and -The Alexander Technique
The most important thing that I am learning is to take it a day at a time and not try to fit every aspect of practice in a single session. And of course, to have fun and keep it musical - whether it's scales or a tune. |
